Christ: The Pattern Prophet

One of the ministries that mention by the book of Ephesians 4:11-13 is the Prophet. The second of the five- fold ministries being mention by Paul to the Ephesians. This ministry is very necessary to bring a church into maturity as a body of Jesus Christ.Even though some of the churches today have not matured beyond certain stage of growth. Because they recognize only two or three of the five ministries, the Evangelist and Pastors and sometimes the teachers. But this is not a position or a hierarchy of a position.But the ultimate goal, aim or purpose of all ministries is not for self glory, or to magnify a human in any way. But to place, to position, and functioning to edify and buildup the Body of Jesus Christ.
But the ministry of the prophet is not well understood by the church today.Prophets has a very special place,functions, and purpose of the Body of Christ. It needs our attention or it needs us to receive. The Prophet is the one who strongly spoke for God in a very intellectual way, by spiritual way or spoke the very words of God. The priest came to God in behaft of the people. But the prophets came along in a certain place or this world in the haft of God.Numbers 12:6 (KJV), He said,“Hear now My words: If there is a prophet among you,I, the Lord, make Myself known to him in a vision;I speak to him in a dream.”
LEVELS OF PROPHECY
The Prophets itself has at least three levels of prophecy being told by the Holy Bible. Each of this levels has a very special place and purpose to maintain the purpose of its ministry.

THE GIFT OF PROPHECY- 1 Cor. 12:10 said, “ to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues.”
This level of prophecy not sighting the skills nor a hobbies, it’s a gift of Holy Spirit alone. It’s controlled the guidelines for all the gifts stated in the Ephesians.This is a gift that a believer or any of us may function from time to time or in an appointing of time. It is understood, the gift of Prophecy is for building up, moving up and comporting the body of Christ. Anything of this should limited to the Prophets. The function of the prophets through it’s ministry does not make one a prophet. It’s a manifestation of the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ and it releases the spirit of prophecy.
THE MINISTRY OFFICE OF PROPHET- Eph. 4:11
Ministry Office of the prophet work to do one’s it called, it’s purposes goes beyond the limitations of it’s gift of prophecy. It’s functions are confirming guidance, rebuke, judgment,correction, warning and revelations that people need to listen respectfully. Even somebody expected not to listen as we notice this day but let the spirit of God humbled themselves and the words of God will manifest in the fullness of his heart.    
THE PROPHECY OF SCRIPTURE
The Holy Bible is the very words of God and it is the Holy Scripture. It is written by the disciples of God, the servant of God, it’s our library in other way both spiritual and physical. Scripture is the highest form of prophecy. It is a God’s breathed!2 Tim 3:16 “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,” no error was ever mention, it’s original and perfect in all book and in all epistles.And it’s an absolute and perfect in all form of authority. But this level of prophecy is no longer given today. REV 22:18-19- ^{18 “}For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book” ^{19 “}And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.”
THE ORIGIN OF THE PROPHETIC MINISTRY
Our God has always voice of the earth. He spoke to our leaders of the church or in ministry itself even before the ministry of a prophets commission by our God. Many of these found in the OT book of the Bible: Abel- Luke 11:50-51, Enoch- Jude 1:14, Noah- Heb 11:7, Abraham- Gen 20:7, Joseph- Gen 50:24, Moses- Deu 34:10, Miriam- Exo 15:20, Aaron- Exo 7:1, Deborah-Judg 4:4

Many of these were an OT type of the NT gift of prophecy. Some of them they did not hold the prophetic office as Samuel, Elisha, etc., but they speak the word of God they receive and need to evangelize to the people of God of their generation. But God give the instruction and guidelines to Moses by which the future prophets must be judge. Deut. 18:15-22
